Q: About Minimizing EBS Upgrade Downtime (Doc ID 1581549.1)

Hi,

Our customer is planning upgrade from EBS11.5.10.2/DB9.2.0.8 to EBS12.2.6/DB11.2.0.4 and they asked us about minimizing EBS upgrade downtime, and we are reviewing the following doc:

Best Practices for Minimizing Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.n Upgrade Downtime ( Doc ID 1581549.1 )

Can you clarify about the following questions?

1)Purging old data is described as Pre-Upgrade Activities, should we also purge the data of ADD-ON tables for reducing the upgrade downtime?

2)After purging old data, should we also reorganize the tablespace to decrease high water mark for reducing the upgrade downtime?

3)Should we purge old data before DB upgrade? Or is it ok even after DB upgrade and before AP tier upgrade?
