Need API to sync DFF attribute columns in MSI table on update of UDA in PIM

We have a requirement to automatically update (sync) the values for DFF attribute columns in inventory item master (Mtl_System_items_b) table on update of equivalent UDA (User defined attributes) in PIM/PDH EGO table.  For implementing this,  Is there any API available to update the DFF attribute column values in MSI table ?

Pls clarify.
