Temporarily Suspend PO Revisioning

My organization is considering switching to the OKC PL/SQL Rules Engine from Oracle Configurator Rules Engine for Contract Expert.

After the switch to the new rules engine, all previous responses from the Oracle Configurator Rules Engine will be lost.  Therefore we are looking into manually re-entering all previous responses on all POs in Contract expert for the new OKC PL/SQL Rules Engine.  However, any modifications done within contract expert automatically creates a new revision to the PO.

Is there a way to temporarily suspend revisioning in Oracle Purchasing module to allow us to re-enter the CE responses?

Also, if we switch OKC PL/SQL Rules engine back to the Oracle Configurator Rules Engine for Contract Expert, will all the previous responses be restored? Or are they lost forever?
