ASCP 12.2.6 Upgrade or Fresh Installation

We are currently on R12.1.3 version for EBS Source and ASCP. We are on 12.2.5.1 Demantra Version.

Now we are planning to move to R12.2.6 version of EBS, ASCP and Demantra. 

We would like to know which is best approach to move from R12.1.3 to R12.2.6 for ASCP. Shall we go for upgrade or do a fresh installation of ASCP instance?
