Dataguard Broker Configuration

Hallo,

Regarding a 11gR2 dg broker configuration, I have few questions :

  1. Is it possible to delete a database in the broker configuration, without disrupting the data guard, and recreate it ? Is that the purpose of PRESERVE DESTINATIONS clause in REMOVE DATABASE dgmgrl cli command  ?
  2. I must be connected to primary database to ADD it in a dg broker configuration via dgmgrl cli ?
