iSupport: How To Restrict certain Install Base Item Instances When Creating a Service Request

We need to restrict certain Install Base Item instances from when creating SRs in iSupport

e.g. We should only be able to see Install Base Items instances which are associated with a System

In the LOV for installed base selection, a user can find installed base instance using multiple

search criteria such as serial number, tag number, product name etc. 

But in the search results, we want to show only those instances which are tagged with a 'System' and not show other instances.

Is this possible with configuration or requires customization?
