Cloning PDB hangs

Hi, I am trying to clone a PDB from a remote CDB using a database link.  Oracle version is 12.2 (OS Oracle linux 7).

When the PDB is  small (about 2GB) it is working ok, but when the PDB is a little bit bigger (5GB) it hangs forever.

Nothing in the alert log.

The ulimit values are unlimited, and all kernel turntables are according to Oracle recommendations.

So what is wrong?
