Reporting on HFM Smart View Extract

Hi All,

We have a requirement where we would be getting smartview extracts of HFM dimensions and Facts in excel the same will be loaded into RDBMS as dimensions and facts. Now we need to build the rpd to create OBIEE reports on that tables directly.

Here when I go through the data in the tables, I got a few questions.


Q1: A particular label value have been repeated more than once in a dimension may be as it is a member in different hierarchies. Now if a fact have two records with the same label value how it can be identified which fact record belongs to which record in dimension when both the dimension records have entries in facts?
