Accumulated Dep Account is greyed in Asset category

After entering Asset Category in a fresh instance, Accumulated Depreciation account got greyed but Depreciation account is still updatable.

FYI.. No asset details are loaded, and while creating Asset Book have given Last Depreciation Run date as last month date (Ex: 30-Nov).

Question - Is it because of the Last Depreciation run date field is taken as last month Accumulated depreciation is greyed out or is there any other reason behind.
