Use Cases for management of MBOM using Design / File Folder subclasses

I am investigating usage of Design / File folder subclasses for MBOMs. As eBOMs are managed with Part Subclasses and ECOs, we are looking at extending to use Agile for MBOM management. I am trying to assess if there are any pitfalls of using the Design File Folders and DFCO process of managing the downstream parts.

An issue I can foresee if that MBOMs are typically extensions of EBOMs but using Design / File Folders and Structure tab, a replica EBOM must be created as a Design / File Folder structure.

Any suggestions  / recommendations are welcome.
