Solaris 10 fail to boot even in failsafe or single user mode

Hi

I have a solaris 10 sparc system, which has problem in logging in to the system via ssh using any account, and then i reboot the system and it fail to boot to drop to the maintenance mode and then hang at the login prompt.

I try to boot in failsafe mode, it can not boot up neither, it keep showing '|' '/' at the prompt.

So i decided to boot in cdrom mode, mount up the root disk, copy the md.conf to /kernel/md.conf and start the mirror d0 and inspect the log.

The log in /var/adm/message looks normal except some cron job error
