Asset Depreciation Method for Multiple Shift

We are in the process of implementing R12.2.4 FA India localization. We have a scenario where our plant and machinery work for say General shifts or 3 Shifts and charging our depreciation as 6.67 and 13.33 respectively. This varies based on the demand of the product and hence the depreciation rates to be charged as per the usage of the plant.

What is the best depreciation method to be used. Do we need to change the rate of the asset when used for Multiple Shift?
