Process Rollover without installing Year End ESUs

I believe it is okay, but just want to verify.  My Year End ESUs won't be put into production until this weekend, but I would like to process the calendar year rollover on the Friday before the ESUs are installed.  Should this cause any problems, or should it be okay?
