Can new variants be created based on PageThree?

Hello All,

I am quite unfamiliar with the Variant Management functionality. What I know is that I can create a Model and define Options in its BOM from where I can create Instance objects based on the options available in Model BOM. These instances will act like Variants of the Model BOM. If my understanding is correct, Variants can be only created based on the variance in the BOM structure. Can anyone confirm if variants can be also created based on variation in Page Three data?
