Problems with T7-2 firmware upgrades - only System Firmware and ILOM "took"

I am working on two new SPARC T7-2 systems.

The first order of business was to upgrade all of the firmware.

The first one went swimmingly as we used the ILOM GUI tool but we're having problems with the 2nd one.  The first one says

which is perfect.  But in our haste to get the 2nd one done, I did it via

load --source tftp://<tftpserver>/Sun_System_Firmware-9_8_3-SPARC_T7-2.pkg

instead of using the GUI tool on the Web page.  It eventually finished and my co-worker went to power-cycle the system.
