Unable to Create Registry with the information provided- Siebel Ip17

Hi ,

i was following Document and installed ip17 and was struck at step 3 after gateway security profile created.

I was able to establish ODBC(32) connectivity as well and siebel drivers are also there . but we are unable to go further at step 3 .getting error "Unable to create Registry with the information Provided".

we have admin privileges to our user as well.

can any one please help me out at this point. i was struck here from past 10 days.

i have opened SMc in other Browser and we are unable to see any seed profiles in enterprise,security profiles as well.
