ASMFD : before installing GRID use of asmfd_label seems to do nothing. AFD_STATE showing nothing.

On Solaris 11 I want to do a new installation of GRID 12.2.0.1 on a new server and use ASM for my database to use when created later on.

notes for using ASMFD on a brand new server.

I have done the following :

[oracle]$ cd /oracle/product/grid/12.2.0.1

[oracle]$

[oracle]$ unzip /oracle/backups/software/solarissparc64_12201_grid_home.zip

[oracle]$

Edit the /oracle/product/grid/12.2.0.1/bin/kfod file to set the OHOME to be the correct home:
