Simplified Interface Refresh

Unless I am missing something, the steps to reach "Refresh database" (in Applications>Overview) and the steps to get out after it completes, is so troublesome. It takes 4 clicks either way.

Is there a simpler navigation to access Refresh Database? The old classic view navigation is direct and simpler.
