Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. GL Accounts: What is the difference among "Enabled", "Allow Posting", and "Effective Date"

If we want to disable a GL account for posting which of the following should we use?

1. Remove "Enabled" check

2. Remove "Allow Posting" check

3. Enter an end date

What is the system behavior in each of the cases?
