Receipt Retruns for Destination Type as Inventory

HI,

I have a PO with Destination Type as Inventory so we have received the Serial and Lot controlled item to our inventory. Now the material controller has done a Miscellaneous Issue transaction to move this item out of the sub-inventory where the same serial and lot number was used (same which was used while receiving the item).

Now the buyer wants to return the item to the supplier but system is not allowing as no item is available in the sub-inventory to be returned. They cannot even create an item through Miscellaeous Receipt with the same Serial and Lot number as sysem will not allow that.
