Single Level Item Where Used (P30201) displaying asterisk in Quantity field

Hi,

We have encountered instances where "Single Level Item Where Used application P30201" displays asterisk  in Quantity field (JDE WS A 7.3 cume 12) for some parent item.Screenshot is attached. Could you please suggest when JDE displays this and what can be done to remove these asterisk displaying in quantity field.
