Adjust W2 Box 1
We used an element that was set up incorrectly on the US Tax Withholding Rules form. The tax category for the element was set up as subject to FIT but not withheld. Is there a way to adjust the W2 box 1 earnings downward by that amount after the fact? The payroll that included the element has already been finalized and the subsequent payrolls have also been processed.
