Golden Gate error ORA-01022: database operation not supported in this configuration

Hello,

I have Oracle Golden Gate 12.2.0.0.0. It was working fine for the source database extract when database was 11.2.0.4. Once database was upgraded to 12.1.0.2.0 (database compatibility 12.1.0.2.0), golden gate extract is not starting and giving below error:

2018-01-08 09:00:45  ERROR   OGG-00446  Opening file +RECO/db/ARCHIVELOG/2018_01_08/thread_1_seq_82231.13326.964861225 in DBLOGREADER mode: (1022) ORA-01022: database operation not supported in this configuration

I already saw MOS Doc ID 2231132.1 and that doesn't apply in my case.

Help will be appreciated.
