Anyone successfully using 13.2.2 DB Plugins against a 12.2.0.1 Database Target?

I am testing an upgrade of a DB from 12.1.0.2.170418 to 12.2.0.1.171031 RU and my target is exhibiting the same issue as described in 2246555.1 for the 13.2.1 DB plugin. I'm current on all system, agent, and plugin patches but using DB plugin 13.2.2.

The target is displaying "Target {oracle_database.****} is broken: No such metadata - No valid queryDescriptor or executionDescriptor found for target [oracle_database.****$2]"
