Siebel export functionality for limited columns

Dear Gurus,

Hope everyone is fine and doing good.

I have a requirement on Custom Export functionality in Siebel applet.

Normally in list applet menu, we have a vanilla export functionality which exports the selected number of rows or all rows in current SQL query to provide a csv output of records.

I am fine with this functionality.

But now I have a custom requirement to restrict the number of columns in the output csv file meaning if I have 20 columns displayed in the applet list column, i need export of 10 columns in the runtime.

Can anybody please suggest any workaround to this problem? Thank you very much in advance,
