Removing a SL3000 that is no longer used from our z/os environment.

We're removing a SL3000 that is no longer used from our existing z/os ELS environment. We currently have multiple VSM6's defined to the same CDS which was used with the SL3000. Rather than writing a new CDS we've varied the LSM offline. Does the ACS also need to be varied offline to ELS prior to powering off the SL3000 and in doing so will it affect the VSM6(s) activity?
