Negative values in RA_INTERFACE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL

Before I get too far, I would like to know if this is possible.

Can I enter a negative amount in RA_INTERFACE_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL to meet a separate entry requirement?

I would place 3 distribution lines for

  SALES   $10

  Clearing (negative amount) $-10

  Accrual $10

When imported, the total distribution amount should be:

CR Sales

  DB  Receivables

CR Accrual

  DB Clearing

Why the business wants this?  Go accountants Go.
