Integrating ECM tool with ARM

Hello,

We have on our road map to use an Enterprise Content Management tool to store our ARM documents.  I just wanted to pose the question to the community to see if anyone else has done this.  If you have I would be interested to know if you were able to build a true interface into the ECM tool from the ARM application (be able to access, add, and manipulate the true documents from ARM).  Or did you integrate it using URL's (copy the URL from the ECM tool into the ARM application).   Would be interested to know if a true
