Data Guard, GDS and E-Business Suite ? Yes You Can or... ?

Hi.  I was going to raise a service request but i will ask here instead.   Is Global Data Services ( Part of Data Guard ) a valid configuration for E-Business Suite.  I cannot find any Metalink notes referencing a certified configuration. I wish to use it to enable a hot standby for EBS but I am interested in feedback from this forum . Thanks !
