Invalid objects, is it even possible to have zero invalid objects?

I  have an EBS instance, a TEST instance.

It is EBS 12.0.6, and my DB is 10.2.0.4.

I am working on an upgrade of the DB from 10g to 11g.

According to instructions, one must have no invalid objects, but I always have some, and some I have trouble compiling.  None of the uncompiled objects are custom, they are all native objects.  Most are MRP views, with a couple of Accounting packages, couple of MRP triggers, and a couple of assorted synonyms.

No method I've tried compiles them all, and I dare say most won't compile.  I've set out to figure each one out individually, but my initial question comes to mind.
