Dear all,

I would like to undersand how ASM uses the disks when ASM_POWER_LIMIT is set to 0.

What happens when we add datafiles, as the balance is disabled which disk it will be use? What if the disk gets full with asm_power_limit=0?

What if we add a disk, it will be useable or it will be necessary to do a rebalance first?

If someone could address me to a link where this is explained I would appreciate. I could not find anything.
