Adding extra operations on Maintenance Requirement

When we create a visit and add an MR (Maintenance Requirement), it creates the WO with existing operations (based on the routes on the MR).
However, we can NOT add more operation in addition to the one's that have been defaulted by the MR. Is there we can add extra operations on the WO in addition to the one defaulted by the MR?
