Issue with Formula / recipe while creating work order / batch

We created new version of recipe and is available for general use. However when we tried to create a work order/batch few of its ingredients formula are not giving correct quantity. The value flare up for planned quantity by more than 100%. This is giving high variance in finance. Can anyone help understanding what possibly could have gone wrong.
