eAM: How to set-up tolerances on Preventive Maintenance Schedule Definitions

Hi Experts,

We're currently discussing the following business case: during the tolerance period the applicable equipment can still be used (but action is eminent), however once the tolerance period is over, the work order should be executed without hesitation (activity with flag Shutdown Required = Yes).

Therefore we would like to include certain tolerances in the PM schedule definitions for maintenance and calibration activities.

However, we don't know whether this is a good place to do so and if yes, how to do it.

Tolerances in schedule definitions is apparently not really a 'tolerance': it refers to a minimum interval that suggested work orders are separated from each other.
