Open UI - displaying Field Caption in form applets

Dear Siebel experts,

I'm pretty sure that many of you noticed that in OpenOU (IP2017) Form applets rendering is bit different as we were used e.g. in IP2013.   If field value in form applet is empty then, field caption is displayed directly in the field position (grey). It might be a nice feature, however we would like to keep it old way, where caption is always displayed/

Could you pls. provide me with some easy steps how to achieve it? We can set opacity property, however I'm not if this is a best practice.
