ORA-10632 Invalid rowid after SHRINK

I am getting the error ORA-10632 Invalid rowid after SHRINKING table partitions which Oracle claims it is safe to run ONLINE with little known limitations. I ensured none of those limitations are causing the failure and infarct I ran SHRINK in 100% offline mode . I SHRINKed almost 1 TB of data on the same day and failed one failure during index rebuild and SELECT query execution.

Couple of Index rebuilds and simple select queries (doing FULL TABLE SCANS) got impacted with this error.

Doc ID 2010580.1 is simply says

Error:  ORA-10632 Invalid rowid

Cause:  Segment Highwatermark was overwritten due to shrink and space reused
