Updating multiple assignment's pay methods through Employee Self Service

We are looking to implement the Pay Methods function for Employee Self Service.  During testing we found that only the pay method related to the Primary assignment is updated.  We have employees with multiple active assignments and we currently maintain a pay method for each one.  Is there a way to configure the Pay Methods function to update all assignments, or all active assignment, not just the primary one?
