One time override double deduction question

We have been told that JDE does not have a way to do an automatic one time override for a double deduction of benefits from employees, based on hiring date. Our current process is to do it manually for each new hire on all of their benefits--and then fill out a bunch of paperwork for each individual.

Since we cannot be the only organization doing double benefit deductions this way, has anyone else out there found a simpler method of doing this? Is there a JDE add-on you could recommend?

Our vendor has suggested exporting the data to an Excel and just manually doing our double deduction that way, but I am hoping someone has found something more elegant...
