Asset Management Physical Inventory

Hi ,

W are in process of testing Physical Inventory for Assets using the Classic approach where we export the extract file and import the scanned data.

We are in talks with our vendors who will be doing our physical inventory.

Vendors asked for the extract file from PeopleSoft Asset Management, they will perform physical inventory and give us back the scanned data in the format and layout PeopleSoft  needs.

I read the people books and no where it mentions file format and layout for scanned import file.

One of the posts on Oracle support says PI Extract and PI Scan are in same format.
