RPAS AIP Calculation is not working due to file with extension of "*.xml~"

Hello Oracle Community -

We are currently experiencing issue with our AIP Configuration (AIP.zip) where in calculations are not working due to duplicate XML files with extension of ".XML~".

What we know of is that these .xml~ files are temporary files that are created when creating/modifying solutions on the RPAS Configuration Tool. (Feel free to correct me on this)

The tricky part however on our end is that when we update a certain calculation, it does not reflect on the ".XML "file but only on the ".XML~", sample below:

  • XML file: nrp_calc.xml
  • Temp file that was created: nrp_calc
