Fixed Assets No Accounting Entries due to "Run Depreciation" process

Greetings

We are currently working with Oracle R 12.1.1 FA. We ran depreciation process and then create accounting-assets. But our GL Trial Balance is not being affected, no journal entries were found for any asset account.

We are concerned about this hence we need it to successfully close January-18. Is there a process to run before we can work with assets in a new year?

I've reviewed the GL Calendar and the Assets Calendar and they both had Jan-18 created.

So the Asset Calendars has Jan-18

Our Trial Balance shows no accounting entries for any asset

I would really appreciate your help toward this
