Warranty contract did not create through standard program as warranty item was not attached in BOM a

Hi All,

We have some cases where standard warranty dint get created through standard program after shipping as warranty item was not attached in the item BOM at the time of shipping. Now warranty has been attached in the BOM. is there any process so that warranty can be created again for such items.

I checked meta link and found some solutions where we need to update effective date in bom to back date and also expire and un expire the item instance. I was able to create warranty contract by this process in test instance.

However we have around of hundreds of such items where warranty dint created .
