I can't locate alert.log.

Hi.

I can't locate the alert log for one instance after a instance reorganisation in a 3 nodes policy based rac with 2 databases.

The issue only happen in 1 instance.

This showld  be in:

ls -l  /u01/app/oracle/diag/rdbms/r_web/rweb_3/alert/

total 17392

-rw-r-----. 1 oracle asadmin 10485895 Dec  3  2015 log_1.xml

-rw-r-----. 1 oracle asadmin  7296895 Jul 21  2016 log.xml

But after instance recolocattion is configurated as:

SQL>  show parameter background_dump_dest

NAME                                 TYPE                             VALUE

------------------------------------ -------------------------------- ------------------------------

background_dump_dest                 string                           /u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0.2/rdbms/log

And also is missing:

$ ls -lrt /u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0.2/rdbms/log

-rw-r-----. 1 oracle asadmin 2416 Jan 25 18:40 rweb_2_ora_20058.trc
