Real Time Event Filter

Creating a Real Time Event filter for RTSOOUT in P4320 for a SO with a Last Status of 530.  Does this mean that a real time event will take place only when the Sales Order is advanced from 530 -> 533?  When the Sales order is created and advanced to 530 there will be no RTE?  The RTE only happens when the Sales Order has a Last Status of 530?
