Is there a max size on redo logs and could a large block size help?

Hello,

We are running an 11.2.0.4 database supporting E-Business Suite 12.2.5 on Solaris SPARC 64. We really want to upgrade the database, so hopefully that will happen this quarter. No matter, I am seeing a  lot of log file sync waits and log switches run between 1 per hour to 30 per hour at times. I see no incomplete checkpoints and the archive log files are very close in size to the redo logs. We have 10 groups with 2 members each sized at 2G. After our upgrade from EBS 11i to 12.2.5, we had to increase the size and add groups.

I ran this query for a busier time
