How to resolve the issue in symbolic url when chanaged the new url instead of that old url?

Note: siebel v16

How to resolve the issue in symbolic url when changed the new url instead of that old url?

I have a issue while established  symbolic url features.  Some of the url is working fine but most of the url not worked. 

I had already tried  the below steps.

1.Changed the URL in symbolic URL record

2.Save the  Record.

3.Clear the Catche and log out the application

4. Reopen the application and checked

But not working.

Please help me to resolve this issue.
