Time Accounting and T3s

The Time & Labour Implementation Guide 9.2, page 11-7 shows the following:
Document types for time and labor
T2: Payroll labor distribution
T3: Actual burden (when you calculate monthly benefits)
T4: Labor billing distribution
T5: Equipment distribution
Does this means that in the Journals for Time & Labour only (my client does not use the JDE payroll) would create F0709 records from the F06116 records and if so, how would it do this.
I saw that 6th period of the month for benefits in the DBA setup and I have never used it. If it is labelled "Monthly" Benefits, does this means that you cannot trigger that process each pay period.
