Values not coming on Parent Member

Hi,

I have loaded the Member of Entity Dimension through Metadata file. Now when I'm entering value in the Child member, this value is not coming to Parent Member. Then I changed the data type of Parent Member to 'Store' and then set back to 'Dynamic Calc', After this activity, Value coming to the Parent Member. Please tell me is this a bug or do we have any permanent fix for this. Because a lot of members are effected with this issue. i have to perform this activity for many member.
