Invalid posted_by user value in gl_je_batches table...

I have records in the gl_je_batches table with a posted_by value of a user that did NOT run the posting program (either batch or via forms).  The journals do have intracompany lines added during posting and/or rounding lines added during posting.  If these rules are owned by a certain user, would it be possible that this is the value being placed in the posted_by field on gl_je_batches table?  I would expect to see the id that runs the posting, but it's a different id...
