Oracle RAC 12.2 - OS boot from SAN.

Hello

I need your advice about the below idea: 

I'm planning to install Oracle RAC 12.2 on two physical server nodes with RedHat Enterprise Linux 7.3 and SAN.

Both server boot from SAN option. The principal reason about this is a quick and easy server replacement because the servers become nothing more than interchangeable compute nodes.  

Let me to know if this configuration is valid and supported by Oracle and if the are some best practice or guide about it.
